Global Engineering and Construction Firm
This firm is a leader in the development and operation of infrastructure to meet the needs of communities around the world. It needed to build an information access portal so that its 10,000+ employees across 120+ global offices could leverage one another's knowledge and project experience to increase productivity and provide better solutions for clients. The overall solution deployed by Aeturnum included the deployment of Microsoft FAST ESP, an enterprise search platform that incorporates state-of-the-art information categorization, tagging, indexing, search, and retrieval of different data sources into a unified set of services. These services provide an enhanced search experience on the SharePoint web portal through provision of guided navigation and advanced linguistic features.
Architecture, Engineering and Environmental Science Business
This firm is an employee-owned family of businesses with expertise in engineering, environmental science, architecture, planning, and construction. It wanted to increase the functionality of search on its Microsoft Office SharePoint Server (MOSS) content repository by implementing FAST ESP as the search engine. In addition to robust search functionality, this platform allowed Aeturnum to set up tagging and categorizing functions that allow employees to easily sift through global information repositories and collaborate with colleagues.
Major Consumer Packaged Goods Manufacturer
Aeturnum recently completed a Proof of Concept deployment integrating three data sources to enable Microsoft FAST ESP search functionality. The successful pilot assisted Microsoft in extending an important client relationship. Aeturnum is currently engaging in discussions with the client to assist with the production deployment of FAST ESP as the organization's knowledge management search solution.
Large Asian Telecom Provider
This project involves the deployment of a customer profiling system to profile search habits of B2C customers and tie them to product and plan inventories for targeted Ad-marketing. Working as a subcontractor to Microsoft Consulting Services, Aeturnum was involved in the Business Intelligence aspects of the solution.
